Gaby Mudingayi ( born October 1, 1981 in Kinshasa ) is a Belgian- Congolese football player who is at FC Bologna in the Italian Serie A under contract and is on loan at Inter Milan.

Playing career

The native Congolese Gaby Mudingayi started his career in Belgium, where he played from 1998 to 2000 for Royale Union Saint -Gilloise. Then he went to the Belgian first division club KAA Gent. There he played from 2000 to January 2004 and was regularly used. Then he went to the Italian second division FC Turin. There he was in the first season regulars; in 38 games he scored a goal. After one and a half years and two missed ascents he left the northern Italians in the summer of 2005 and went to Lazio.

Lazio Rome

Even with Lazio was Mudingayi regulars. He is one of the few dark-skinned players who have ever played for Lazio. Parts of Lazio's supporters are allocated to the political right wing and are regarded as xenophobic.

FC Bologna

Mudingayi joined the 2008/09 season for Bologna FC and signed a contract there until 30 June 2012. His first competitive match for Bologna he played in the third round of the Coppa Italia against Vicenza Calcio.

Inter Milan

During the summer break in 2012 Mudingayi was awarded to Inter Milan. The Milanese were given an option to require the midfielder permanently.

National

Gaby Mudingayi is current Belgian national team. The midfielder has played 17 internationals for his country without scoring a goal.
