Luca Castellazzi

Luca Castellazzi (born 19 July 1975 Gorgonzola ) is an Italian football goalkeeper who stands in July 2010 with Inter Milan in Serie A under contract.

Career

The goalkeeper started his professional career in 1993 with the then third division club AC Monza Brianza, in which, in his debut season in Serie C1, he could not play in the first team itself. For the following 1994/95 season, he transferred on loan in the fourth- highest division for FC Varese. There, he won the first time a regular place and stood in 18 of 34 games in goal the Lombard team. After his return to Monza Brianza in the summer of 1995 he succeeded there, to prevail against its competitors and to secure a regular place. The following year, Castellazzi joined the second division club Calcio Padova. In the seasons 1996/97 and 1997/98, he received regular appearances in the B series, but could not prevail decisively, and went with the team in the Serie C1 from. In the spring of 1999, the goalkeeper for Pescara Calcio, where he graduated only three league games and was released a few months later to Brescia Calcio signed.

His involvement in Brescia was not entirely successful. By 2001, still acting as substitute goalkeeper, he won over the course of 2001 a regular place in the team and secured with the team to promotion to Serie A. The season 2007/ 08 was completed on the sixth and won the qualification for the UEFA Cup again. After the group stage, with opponents Standard Liege, VfB Stuttgart and FC Sevilla and FK Partizan Belgrade was successfully withstood, the team lost a game against Metalist Kharkiv and later retired from the competition. After five years in Genoa, Castellazzi decided to leave the club. He wrote in June 2010 to end of June 2012 valid contract with Inter Milan. 11 May 2012 it was announced that Castellazzi extended his contract with Inter until 30 June 2014.
