Galina Voskoboeva

Galina Olegovna Woskobojewa (Russian Галина Олеговна Воскобоева; born December 18, 1984 in Moscow, USSR ) is a tennis player who first played for Russia and competes for Kazakhstan since 2008.

Career

Woskobojewa playing on hard courts, began at the age of six years with the sport of tennis. In her professional career, she won three previous singles and ten doubles titles on the ITF Women's Circuit.

On March 6, 2011 Woskobojewa won her first title on the WTA Tour. Together with Dinara Safina defeated in three sets pairing Noppawan Lertcheewakarn / Jessica Moore. In the same year, she still won the two WTA clay court tournament in Oeiras and Brussels on the side of Alissa Kleibanowa or Andrea Hlaváčková.

On February 23, 2013 she succeeded at the WTA tournament in Memphis another success, this time with Kristina Mladenovic. At the Grand Slam tournament at Roland Garros, she stood for the second time after 2008 in the quarterfinals, again in 2013 on the side of Mladenovic. In the spring of 2014, it won with Mladenovic at the WTA tournament in Acapulco her fifth doubles title on the tour.
