Sofia Arvidsson
Sofia Arvidsson (born 16 February 1984 in Halmstad ) is a Swedish tennis player.
Career
Arvidsson, who prefers to play on hard court or carpet that began at the age of eight years with the tennis games.
Since 2010 she is in Swedish Fed Cup team. In 2008 she took part in the Olympic Games in Beijing for their country.
Since 1999 she plays at ITF level, in the same year they played their first qualifying round of the WTA Tour. In 2006, she reached the third round at the Australian Open in Melbourne, her career's best performance at a Grand Slam tournament. In the same year Arvidsson won her first WTA tournament. In the final she beat Marta Domachowska of Memphis with 6:2, 2:6, 6:3, after they have been in the second round and Lisa Raymond 6-4, 6-4, in the quarter-finals Caroline Wozniacki 7-5, 6-4 Amy Frazier in the semifinals 6-2, 6-2 defeat had.
Your only previous WTA doubles title they won in September 2010 in Quebec City, where they pairing Bethanie Mattek -Sands / Barbora Zahlavova Strycova defeated, along with her compatriot Johanna Larsson in the final set.
In February 2012, Arvidsson was six years after her first tournament victory in the same place once again win the tournament from Memphis and thus celebrate her second individual title on the tour.
