GaziosmanpaÅŸaspor
Gaziosmanpaşaspor is a Turkish sports and football club from the municipality Gaziosmanpaşa the Istanbul province. Gaziosmanpaşaspor was founded in 1965; their home games carry the Green - Red from the Gaziosmanpaşa Stadium.

History
Foundation
The club was founded in 1965 in the Istanbul district and county of the same name Gaziosmanpaşa through the efforts of some Bezirksnotablen.
Entry into professional football
After the summer of 1980, the Turkish professional football from three reduced to only two professional leagues was 1984, the third highest professional football league with its present name TFF Lig 2 was on directive of the then President Turgut Ozal, the third Lig reintroduced. In addition, it was announced that after meeting certain requirements and conditions you can apply for a league participation. In order to advance the city's development, several Bezirksnotablen tried it, to meet the requirements. After allowing the conditions fulfilled, the Turkish Football Federation confirmed participation. So took Zeytinburnuspor in the season 1984/85 of the reintroduction of third Lig part and finished the season 5th place in the table of group 2
Second division ascent and subsequent years
After the club was six seasons long active in the 3rd Lig finished it the third league match 1989/90 season as champions and rose for the first time in the club's history in the second highest league in the second Lig on. Here they played the subsequent eight seasons. For summer 1999, we missed the league, but reached in the following season the direct resurgence. But the summer of 1999 the club was relegated again.

Since 1999, the club plays with minor interruptions in the third highest Turkish league, the second TFF Lig
