George Cosac

George Cosac ( born January 26, 1968 in Constanţa ) is a former Romanian tennis player.

Life

Cosac played from 1989 mainly on the ATP Challenger Tour, where he has had some notable successes, especially in doubles. He stood where he was defeated by his compatriot Adrian Marcu against Michael Stich and Martin Sinner in the finals of the Tournament of Heilbronn. Other runners-up in 1989, he had in Budapest and Eger. The following year, he was in two double -finals of Challernger tour and in the doubles final of Prague. Together with the two runners-up in Bucharest in 1993 and 1998, these were his greatest success on the ATP World Tour. In 1996, he celebrated at the side of Dinu Pescariu the double title of the Challenger tournament in Braşov.
