Georges Gautschi

Georges Harold Roger Gautschi (* April 6, 1904, † 12 February 1985 ) was a Swiss figure skater, who started in a single run.

The three-time Swiss champion won the bronze medal at the European Championships in 1926 and became vice - European champion in 1929 after Karl Schäfer. They were the first medals for a Swiss figure skater at the European Championships. He managed to do at the World Championships as he the bronze medal behind Karl Schaefer and Roger Turner took 1930. By winning bronze he was also the first Olympic medalist in figure skating in Switzerland for his only 1924 Olympics. This should still succeed Hans Gerschwiler and Stéphane Lambiel after him.
