The Georgia State University ( GSU also called ) is a public university in Atlanta, Georgia. It is part of the University System of Georgia. The college was founded in 1913. Currently, about 28,000 students are enrolled.

The sports teams are the GSU Panthers. The university is a member of the Sun Belt Conference since 2013. The GSU is a partner school of the Ansbach University and the Friedrich -Alexander -University Erlangen -Nuremberg.
