Gérard Jugnot
Gérard Jugnot ( born May 4, 1951 in Paris ) is a French actor, director and screenwriter. He has appeared in over 70 films as actor, wrote the script for more than two dozen films and even directed it in nine.
Biography
In school Jugnot met his future fellow actor Christian Clavier, Thierry Lhermitte, Josiane Balasko and know. With them, he later founded the theater group Equipe du Splendid, which occurred in the eighties in Paris theaters and, mostly with director Patrice Leconte, some made films - including the film series Les Bronzés.
His first major film appearances had Jugnot 1976 in Roman Polanski's The Tenant and in Bertrand Tavernier's Monsieur Klein ( with Jeanne Moreau and Alain Delon ). After the dissolution of Equipe du Splendid Jugnot turned first two films as director: Scout toujours and Pinot simple flic.
