Gerd Schönfelder

Gerd Schoenfelder ( born September 2, 1970 in Kulmain ) is a German ski racer who won numerous medals at the Paralympics.

Career

Schoenfelder, the sports retailer and a certified electrical engineer is, since 1992, won at several Winter Paralympics 16 wins and a total of 22 medals. He is so far the most successful athlete in the history of the Paralympics. He is also a fourteen- time World Champion.

So far Schoenfelder could the overall World Cup of Men ( MoU) in the seasons 1996/1997, 1998/1999, 1999/2000, 2001/2002, 2004/2005, 2005/2006 to win 2009/2010. Furthermore, he managed to secure in the years 1995/1996, 1996/1997, 1997/1998, 1999/2000 and 2002/2003 the total European Cup the men ( standing ).

2008 Gerd Schoenfelder was elected to the council of his home town Kulmain, 2010, he moved to the CSU in the council of the district Tirschenreuth after.
