1998 Winter Paralympics

The 7th Winter Paralympics were held in the Japanese city of Nagano from 5 to 14 March 1998, were the first games outside of Europe. The Paralympics is the Olympics for people with physical disabilities. Approximately 571 athletes from 32 nations participated in 34 competitions in four sports.
