Gianni Meersman

Gianni Meersman ( born December 5, 1985 in Tielt ) is a Belgian racing cyclist.

Gianni Meersman was 2002 Belgian Junior champion in the individual pursuit on the track. In 2004, he began then at the amateur team Beveren in 2000 and won the Circuit van Hainaut. In the 2005 season, he won three stages of the Tour of Namur and so decided the overall rating for themselves. A year later he won a stage of the Tour de l' Oise again. Since 2007, Meersman is professional, first for the U.S. ProTeam Discovery Channel.
