Gina Hecht

Gina Hecht ( born December 6, 1953 in Winter Park, Florida ) is an American actress.

Life and achievements

Gina Hecht is a daughter of actress Pauline Hecht, which occurred mainly in plays. She made her debut in the science fiction television series Mork and Mindy in which they occurred in the period 1979 to 1981. In the comedy Night Shift - The morgue freaks completely out (1982 ) she played the fiancée of Chuck Lumley (Henry Winkler ). In the film drama St. Elmo 's Fire (1985 ) she appeared alongside Emilio Estevez, Rob Lowe, Demi Moore and Andie MacDowell. In the television drama scramble my tormentors! (1992 ) took pike next to Joanna Cassidy and Ellen Burstyn one of the major roles. In the film drama A Hot Affair (1995 ) she played a larger role at the side of Ally Sheedy.

Pike is married to screenwriter and actor Brian Herskowitz. She produced the directorial debut of her husband, the short film Odessa or Bust (2001), to the Herskowitz also wrote the screenplay. In the movie Red Buttons embodied one of his last roles as an old actor, who remembers the difficulties of his career. Gina Hecht played the role of God. Odessa or Bust was awarded during the Tambay Film and Video Festival in Tampa with the jury prize for best short film. In the made-for- TV movie Love A Stranger 's Heart (2007), she appeared in a larger role on the side of Samantha Mathis.
