Giorgos Foiros

Georgios Firos (Greek Γιώργος Φοιρός, born November 8, 1953 in Evosmos ) is a former Greek football player.

Playing career

Firos began his career in 1972 with Aris Thessaloniki, where he could not win a title in eight years contract. In 1980 he moved to local rivals Iraklis Thessaloniki, where two years later he ended his career.

Internationally, he played 52 times for Greece. Firos played in the European Football Championship 1980 in Italy, where it was used twice.

Coaching career

Firos coached after his playing career, the clubs Olympiakos Nicosia, AO Kerkyra and Thrasyvoulos Fylis.

On March 27, 2014 he became the new manager of Aris Thessaloniki.
