Giovanni Maria Flick

Giovanni Maria Flick ( born November 7, 1940 in Cirié ) is an Italian lawyer and politician.

1962 ended flick his studies in law at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan. Flick was before in 2000 he was appointed to the Constitutional Court, since 1980 Professor of Criminal Law at the LUISS Guido Carli in Rome, as well as justice minister in the first cabinet of Romano Prodi.

From 14 November 2008 until 18 February 2009 he was president of the Italian Constitutional Court. Previously, he had already been Vice- President of the court under his predecessor Franco Bile.
