Girls' Generation Asia Tour Into the New World

Into the New World is a concert tour by the South Korean girl group Girls' Generation in Asia. This is the first tour of the group. It began on December 19, 2009 in Seoul.

Overview

In November 2009, by S. M. Entertainment announced that Girls' Generation will go on a tour of Asia. Your first two concerts were the group on 19 and 20 December 2009 at the Olympic Fencing Stadium in Seoul before each 6,500 visitors. The tickets for the two concerts were sold out within three minutes. In addition to many different songs of the band, had each of the nine members and a solo performance.

As a bonus, organized Girls' Generation respectively on 27 and 28 February 2010, two more concerts in Seoul. These two performances differed from the setlist slightly from the previous concerts.

Their first overseas concert of the tour gave Girls' Generation on April 17, 2010 in Shanghai, China.

The planned concert in Bangkok was originally scheduled for 29 May 2010, has been postponed to July 25, 2010. But even this appearance has been postponed indefinitely due to the unrest in Thailand.

On October 16th and 17th 2010, the Group held two concerts on the Pacific island of Taiwan. The concerts were sold out within one and a half hours. Appeared on the two days 24,000 visitors in the Taipei Arena to ' see Girls Generation live. Overall, they performed 36 songs. In some Taiwanese media, the group has been criticized for having sung playback. Of which were also disappointed some fans. S. M. However, Entertainment defended himself against criticism. With two concerts, the group achieved a turnover of 5 million U.S. dollars.

On 30 December, was released in 2010 in South Korea, the live album The 1st Asia Tour - Into the New World with 38 music tracks. The songs included are recordings of the concert in Seoul on 19 and 20 December 2009.
