Gladsaxe SF is a Danish Hockey Club was established in 1959 from the Gladsaxe municipality. The team plays in the first division. The team wears their home games in the 2,000 -seat Gladsaxe Skøjtehal.

History

The Gladsaxe SF was founded in 1959. In the season 1962/63 the club first participated at the highest Danish Hockey League. Until the late 1970s, the first team of Gladsaxe SF was an integral part of Denmark in Elite Series and was in 1967, 1968, 1971, 1974 and 1975 respectively to win the national championship. Following the first and last title win, the club took each part of the Hockey European Cup, in which he the Norwegian club Vålerenga IF Oslo was defeated in the 1967/68 season with 1:12 and 1:15; in the first round of the competition 1975/76, the club lost just as clearly with 2:7 and 0:12 the Norwegian competitors Frisk Asker. After the descent in the season 1977/78 Gladsaxe played only sporadically in the highest Danish league, most recently in 1999/ 2000.

In the season 2011/12 the Gladsaxe Bears play as the seniors team of the association is, in the second class 1 division.
