Glan is a Philippine municipality in the province of Sarangani.

The majority of the population is from the origin Cebuano.

Geography

The municipality of Glan is located east of the bay of Sarangani and north of the Celebes Sea. It is bounded on the east by the province of Davao del Sur. From Glan ferry connections to the islands of Balut and Sarangani.

Economy

The economy is based on agriculture glans with a significant Kopraproduktion. Aquaculture are the second most important source of income. In particular, milkfish and shrimp cultures. Other agricultural products are coconut, corn, sugarcane, bananas, pineapples, mangoes, pork, eggs, beef and fish.
