Gleb Klimenko

Gleb Klimenko Viktorovich (Russian Глеб Викторович Клименко; born July 28, 1983 in Khabarovsk, Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who is since May 2013 in Severstal Cherepovets in the Kontinental Hockey League contract.

Career

Gleb Klimenko began his career at as a hockey player in the third-class Perwaja league in which he held until 2000, Saint Petersburg was active from 1998 for the second representations of Severstal Cherepovets and SKA. Then he gave in the 2001/ 02 season for the first team of HK Lipetsk his debut in the second-rate Wysschaja league. In the following season was the aggressor in the Wysschaja league in which he ran aground for Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod and Neftjanik Leninogorsk. From 2003 to 2007 Klimenko stood at second division HK Belgorod under contract. During this period he also ran parallel again and again for other teams.

After he started the 2007/08 season at HK Belgorod, the Russian moved to Vityaz Chekhov in the Russian Super League, where he had already left the team again during the following season in the newly formed Kontinental Hockey League to for their league rivals Ak Bars to play Kazan, with whom he in his career, Champion of Russia was first in the 2008 /09 season. For the 2009/10 season he returned to Chekhov. From January 2010 he was again at SKA Saint Petersburg under contract. In January 2011 he transferred within the KHL HK for Metallurg Magnitogorsk, with whom he defeated in the playoffs for the Gagarin Cup until the conference finals. For the 2011/12 season he signed a contract with SKA again Saint Petersburg.

Middle of the 2012/13 season Klimenko was initially loaned to Atlant Mytischtschi, rather he was released in May 2013, together with Sergei Monachow, the KHL rights to Sven Baertschi and a compensatory payment in exchange for Severstal Cherepovets of Yevgeny Ketow.
