Glenn Rupertus
Glenn Richard Rupert ( born July 26, 1964 in Wetaskiwin ) is a former Canadian biathlete. He took part in three Winter Olympics and nine World Biathlon Championships.
Glenn Rupert started for the Camrose Ski Club. Since 1985 he has participated in international races. In the Biathlon World Championships 1985 in Ruhpolding, he was 72 of the sprint. A year later, at the Holmenkollen in Oslo, the Canadian was ranked 67 in singles, 40 in the sprint and with Eric Rauhanen, Charles Plamondon and Paget Stewart 17 with the season. In 1987, in Lake Placid, a 59th place in singles and 43rd in the Sprint added. In 1988 Rupert participated in his first Olympic Games. He was part of the team that participated for the first time in 20 years in the Olympic biathlon competitions. In domestic Calgary he showed places in 34 single and Sprint as well as with Plamondon, Ken Karpoff and Jamie Kallio 15th place in the relay race.
