Gmina Tułowice
Tułowice ( German Tillowitz ) is a place in the powiat Opolski in the Opole Voivodeship and seat of the municipality of the same country.
Geography
Neighboring communities of the municipality Tułowice are Dąbrowa ( Dambrau ) Comprachtschütz / Komprachcice, Korfantów ( Friedland ), Łambinowice ( Lamsdorf ) Niemodlin ( Falkenberg ) and Proskau / Prószków.
History
Tillowitz was first documented in 1447. From the beginning of the 19th century the town was a center of ceramic and porcelain production.
Prior to 1945 Tillowitz was part of the district Falkenberg OS. Since 1950, is the town in the Opole Voivodeship.
