History
The club was founded by the three villages Gudbjerg Oure and Gudme ( near Svendborg ) founded in 1973 as GOG.
1985 increased the ladies' department in the Toms Ligaen. Since the summer of 2010, the women's handball departments work of GOG Svendborg and Odense Håndbold together. The clubs come together since then as Odense GOG.
1987 increased the men's department in the Danish primary series and since then has been in every season in the Top 3 of the final table. 2005 merged the club with Svendborg TGI and GOG Svendborg TGI calls since then. During the 2009/10 season, the fixture operating company went bankrupt, which GOG the men's team withdrew from the league and it was clear of relegation to the third- highest division. She then appeared as GOG to Håndbold. In March 2013 the club managed to return to the excellence.
