Goinger Halt

The Going's grip is a mountain in the Kaiser mountains in Tyrol. It is bimodal and consists of the northern rear Goinger Halt ( 2192 m above sea level. A. ) and the Southern Front Goinger higher maintenance ( 2242 m above sea level. A. ). The name " stop" means as much as pasture and therefore referred to the summit via the pastures belonging to the municipality Going ( cf. Ellmau stop).

Location

The Going's keep rising just east of Ellmau gate of the stone gutter, and are thus in the central part of the Kaiser Mountains. To the west is across from the Charles tips and the meat Bank. To the north, the holding of the pulpit is upstream. To the southwest of the main ridge, which eventually culminates in the Ackerlspitze and to the northwest fall steep precipices from the Griesner Kar follows.

Routes

The Rear Goinger maintenance is one of the easiest and therefore most visited peaks of the Wilder Kaiser. Your summit cross is accessible via a unschwierigen, marked trail from Ellmau gate in 40 minutes. Yet here If security is required. On nice summer days, many visitors jostle to the very cramped summit.

The Front Goinger maintenance is much more demanding and can also be reached from Ellmau goal. Initially Follow the trail towards rear Goinger bills, but bends at a saddle right and follow trail tracks that "marked" only by Steinmandl are. Next, the route is rocky and exposed, it requires climbing in unsecured II Difficulty UIAA scale. The summit provided with a book is reached after an hour and offers not only a larger panorama, but also more quiet than the rear Goinger maintenance.

A popular climbing route in III. Degree leads from the pulpit lip on the north ridge to the summit of the Back Goinger maintenance.
