The pulpit is a 2,116 m high mountain in the Wilder Kaiser mountains east of Kufstein in Tyrol in the Northern Limestone Alps.

The mountain is one of the famous climbing mountains of the Northern Limestone Alps. Among the most famous climbs include Angermann channel ( Normal Difficulty in UIAA III on the pulpit -lip ), the striking North Rim and the Botzong fireplace. Starting point for this route is the Stripsenjochhaus of the PES.

Together with Rear Goinger maintenance, Karlspitzen, meat Bank and Christa tower forms the summit the outline of the stone gutter, a former Gletscherkars, which pulls up the south against the transfer of Ellmau gate.

First ascent of the sermon chair were Johann Tavonaro and Philip Scheiner on June 30, 1895.
