The Gore Highway is a highway in the southeast of the Australian state of Queensland. It connects the cities of Goondiwindi on the border with New South Wales and Toowoomba. Together me the Goulburn Valley Highway and the Newell Highway, it forms the national road link from Melbourne to Brisbane. He wears the number NA39.

The highway passes through the Darling Downs. The typical scenery along the road are cattle pastures, orchards and grain fields. It was only collected in February 1993 to Highway and thus took over this function for the route Goondiwindi - Brisbane from the Cunningham Highway. So the traffic between the states was diverted by the Warrego Highway Toowoomba, replacing the old route by Warwick and Cunninghams Gap, which had much larger gradients. How was the ride, especially for freight, easier and faster. Initially it was called State Road 85 to the National Road 85 was created in February 1993 that divided the S85 into two parts.
