Gouramangi Singh (2011)

Gouramangi Moirangthem Singh ( born January 25, 1986 in Imphal ) is of Indian football player.

Career

Association

Singh comes from the Tata Football Academy. After working for Mohun Bagan AC, Mahindra United and Sporting Clube de Goa in 2007 he came to Churchill Brothers SC. Under the leadership of captain and top scorer Odafe Onyeka Okolie Churchill Brothers in 2009 won the first national championship in club history.

National

Singh has already played at U-17 level for Indian team selection and 2007 saw his debut in the Indian national team. 2008, the central defender occupied with the national team, first in June, the second in the South Asia Championship and won two months later by a 4-1 win over Tajikistan to the AFC Challenge Cup. The Indian national team managed by first time since 1984 to qualify for the Asia Cup.

In the years 2007 and 2009 he won with India in the organized by the All India Football Federation Nehru Cup.
