Grace of my Heart

Grace of my Heart is a feature film by American film director Allison Anders from the year 1996. The independent film based on an original screenplay by Anders, loosely inspired by the biography of American musician Carole King.

Action

The film is about the difficult path of a young woman in the tough American music business of the 1950s to the 1970s. The millionaire's daughter Edna Buxton dreams of a career as a singer, but must first of all - among whom you forced upon from producer Joel Millner stage name Denise Waverly - content with the role as songwriter.
