Bridget Fonda

Bridget Jane Fonda ( born January 27, 1964 in Los Angeles, California) is an American actress.

Life

Bridget Fonda is the granddaughter of Henry Fonda, daughter of Peter Fonda, niece of Jane Fonda and Larry Hagman godchild.

Acting Career

As a five- year-old she had her first appearance at the cinema to see 1969 she was in Easy Rider as a toddler in a hippie commune who came to Peter Fonda and Dennis Hopper on their journey through the United States. In 1982 she had a minor role in the comedy partner. During her acting training at the Actors Studio by Lee Strasberg Theatre she played in New York. For the cinema, she took very different roles, from the experimental to the action film. Her breakthrough came with the female lead role in the psychological thriller, single, young looking ... (1992). In 1994, she starred in the romantic comedy $ 2,000,000 tip next to Rosie Perez and Nicholas Cage a more leading role. In Quentin Tarantino's Jackie Brown ( 1997), she appeared in a star-studded opposite Robert De Niro and Samuel L. Jackson. In 1997, she turned down the title role in the hit TV series later worldwide Ally McBeal in favor of her film career. In 1998, she played the careworn wife in Sam Raimi A Simple Plan. After their last two films Kiss of the Dragon and fireworks in Italian (both 2001), she had only a few television appearances, including the two-part television film adaptation of the fairy tale The Snow Queen (2002) by Hans Christian Andersen, in which she played the lead role.

Personal

Fonda is married to film composer Danny Elfman since 29 November 2003 and has with him a son (* 2005). A few months before the wedding, she was only slightly injured a self-inflicted serious car accident.
