Rosie Perez

Rosa María Pérez ( born September 6, 1964 in New York City ) is an American actress.

Life and achievements

Perez comes from a Puerto Rican family. She made her debut as a dancer on the television program Soul Train, her first role in a movie she starred in Do the Right Thing from the year 1989. 's Comedy White Men Can not Jump (1992 ) she played a major role alongside Wesley Snipes and Woody Harrelson, in the comedy $ 2,000,000 tipping (1994 ) opposite Nicolas Cage and Bridget Fonda.

For her role in the drama Fearless - Beyond Fear ( 1993), in which she starred alongside Jeff Bridges, Isabella Rossellini and Tom Hulce, Perez was nominated for Best Supporting Actress Oscar. Her voice was heard The Road to El Dorado addition to the voices of Kevin Kline and Kenneth Branagh in animation.

Perez married in 1999, the director Seth Zvi Rosenfeld, in 2001 they separated.

Last Perez played the role of Dahlia in the TV series Lipstick Jungle. Perez appeared in the performance art film to Jay Z's song Picasso baby.
