Greatest Hits from the Bong (Eng. The greatest hits from the bong ) is a best-of album of the American hip hop group Cypress Hill. It was released in late 2005 on the label Columbia Records and Sony BMG.
Content
In the best-of compilation, especially singles from the first seven studio albums from Cypress Hill are included. Here, the debut album Cypress Hill has the largest share with three songs. Furthermore, there is a remix to Latin Thugs and the two new tracks The Only Way and Ez Come Ez Go to Greatest Hits from the Bong. In Europe, the album came with three extra bonus tracks on the market.
Production
The majority of the selected for the best-of songs was produced by the group's own producer DJ Muggs. Only five of the 15 beats have been contributed by other producers. These are The Alchemist, DJ Khalil, T -Ray, and Kazzanova " Fredwreck " Nassar.
Cover design
On the album cover is centered large Cypress Hill, among them is slightly smaller Greatest Hits from the Bong. The background is kept dark, isolated skulls are yellowish in hue visible.
Guest Posts
In three songs of the album, other artists are represented alongside Cypress Hill. The rapper Tego Calderón is heard on the title Latin Thugs and the associated Reggaeton Mix, while Barron Ricks on the bonus song Tequila Sunrise has a guest appearance.
