Geography
The community Grisy -les- Plâtres is located 36 kilometers north-west of Paris. It is located in the Regional Natural Park Vexin français.
Neighboring communities of Grisy -les- Plâtres are Theuville in the northwest, Épiais - Rhus in the east, Génicourt in the south, Cormeilles -en- Vexin in the southwest and Bréançon in the West.
History
The Church of Grisy -les- Plâtres was in 1092 you paid the Seigneur Dreux Rosnel the Abbey of Saint -Martin in Pontoise. Over the centuries the possession of the manor changed hands several times. Until the French Revolution was Louis François I de Bourbon and his heirs in possession of the place.
1866, the railway line from Valmondois was inaugurated by Marines, was connected via the Grisy -les- Plâtres with Pontoise and Paris. This line was discontinued in 1949.
