Gröbitz is a district of the municipality of the city unit Teuchern in Burgenland district, in Saxony -Anhalt. It is beside the Gröbitz in Lower Lusatia is the only place with the name Gröbitz in Germany.

History

The village was first mentioned on February 28, 1135.

From the city Teuchern and the communities Deuben, Gröben, Gröbitz, Krauschwitz, Nessa, Prittitz and Trebnitzgrund the unified community town Teuchern is formed on 1 January 2011 by law. With the formation of the new city which is involved in the formation of new city and the communities involved are resolved.
