The Office Greater Ploen Lake is a circular cross- office in Schleswig -Holstein. In addition to nine communities in the district of Plön office also belongs to the municipality Bosau from among East Holstein. The community Bosau leads with her full-time business management for the office. However, the headquarters is the town of Plön and the municipal legal supervision of the Office carried out by the district of Plön.

History

The Office was formed on 1 January 2007 from the communities of the former Office Plön country and the hitherto official free community Bosau and initially comprised the parishes mountain ash (Holstein) and Bösdorf.

On 1 January 2014 mountain ash (Holstein) and Bösdorf have been carved out of the office and have since been managed by the town of Plön.
