Dersau

Dersau is a municipality in the district of Plön, in Schleswig- Holstein.

Geography and transport

Dersau is located about 7 km southwest of Plön on the highway 430, right on the Great Plön Lake. Dersau is connected via a bus at Plon, Stocksee and Nehmten.

History

Dersau belonged to the Good Mountain ash and is located on the former stagecoach road from Altona to Kiel. From the time when Dersau still belonged to the estate mountain ash, comes the still valid to this day rule that the owner of the goods all the oaks and beeches in Dersau belong, regardless of whether they are in a garden or in the forest.
