Nettelsee
Nettelsee is a municipality in the region Barkauer land in the district of Plön, in Schleswig- Holstein.
Geography and transport
Nettelsee is located about 16 km north-east of Neumünster and about 8 km southwest of Preetz on the main road 404 from Kiel to Bad Segeberg. From 1911 to 1961 Nettelsee was the small train station Kiel Segeberg, whose tracks were removed in 1962.
History
Nettelsee belonged since 1457 to the monastery Preetz.
Policy
Since the local elections of 2008, the voters Community AWN six and voters Community AFW three seats in the municipal council.
