Mucheln

Mucheln is a municipality in the district of Plön, in Schleswig- Holstein. Baumrade, peace Castle, Hasselburg, Sellin and Tresdorf lie in the municipality.

Geography and transport

Mucheln is located approximately 18 km east of Kiel and about 10 km north of Plön in a sea-rich environment. About 7 km to the north runs the federal highway 202 from Kiel to Luetjenburg and about 7 km south-east State Road 430 from Plön after Luetjenburg.

Policy

Of the nine seats in the municipal council has the CDU since the local elections in 2013 five seats and voters Community FWG four.
