Guerstling
Guerstling ( German: Gerstl Ingen ) is a commune with 421 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Moselle in the Lorraine region.
Geography
The place is located in the north of Lorraine, on the German- French border, in the vicinity of the Saarland Niedaltdorf the river Nied.
History
The village was first mentioned in 1283 as Guerselanges. Other names were Gerselinga ( 1544), Görselingen at the Nied ( 1555), Gerstl Ingen sur la Nied (1600), Guerchelin ( 1742) and Gersling (1779 ).
