György Mitró

György Mitro [ ɟørɟ Mitro ː ] ( born March 6, 1930 in Nyíregyháza, † January 4, 2010 in Budapest) was a Hungarian swimmer.

At the Olympic Games in London, he won the silver medal with the Hungarian 4 × 200 m freestyle relay. He also claimed the bronze medal over 1500 m. At the European Championships in 1947 before he was able to secure the title over 1500 m.
