Hagenbrunn

Hagen Brunn is a market town with 2550 inhabitants, of which 2020 primary residence and secondary residence 530 inhabitants (as of December 2012) in the district Korneuburg in Lower Austria.

Geography

Hagen Brunn is located on the northern edge of the Bisamberg in the wine district in Lower Austria. The area belongs to the foothills of the Alps ( so-called Waschberg zone) extending north of the Danube to the north.

History

From 1938 to 1954 Hagenbrunn belonged as part of the 21st district of Vienna Floridsdorf ( "Greater Vienna " ), but belonged since 1945 to the Soviet occupation zone of Lower Austria.
