Hamilton South (Scottish Parliament constituency)
Hamilton South was a constituency of the Scottish Parliament. It was introduced in 1999 as one of ten constituencies of Central Scotland electoral region and abolished by the revision in 2011. The area was mainly due to the new constituencies Hamilton, Larkhall and Stonehouse, a small part in Uddingston and Bellshill. It included territories of the Council Area South Lanarkshire. Hamilton is the largest city in the urban-influenced constituency south-east of Glasgow. The constituency sent one delegate.
