Hans Scheele

Hans -Heinrich Scheele ( born December 18, 1908 in Kirchwärder in Hamburg, † July 23, 1941 ) was a German athlete who was successful in the 1930s in the 400 - meter hurdles as well as relay runners. At the European Championships in 1934, he was a double winner: the 400 -meter hurdles, he won in 53.2 s in the 4 x 400 - meter relay team, he won together with Helmut Hamann, Harry Voigt and Adolf Metzner (Hans Scheele as second runner; end time 3:14,1 min. ) at the Olympic Games in Berlin in 1936, he started only about 400 meter hurdles, but different from already in the flow.

Hans Scheele initially belonged to the sports club SV Altona and from 1936 the Hamburger SV. In its competition time, he was 1.85 m tall and 70 kg.
