Haris Handžić

Haris Handžić ( born June 20, 1990 in Sarajevo) is a Bosnian football player.

Career

The striker began his career with his hometown club FK Sarajevo, where he was able to achieve six goals as a professional in 23 games in his first season. After good performances in the first round of the 2008/ 09 European clubs were aware of him and so the Polish UEFA Cup representatives Lech Poznań obliged the Bosnians in December 2008 for an estimated transfer fee of 170,000 €. For the 2010/11 season Handzic was awarded back to his hometown club FK Sarajevo.

His contract with Lech is valid until 30 June 2013.

Career in the national team

Handžić went through all the junior national teams of Bosnia and was the first Bosnians who managed to come in a year in three different age groups are used. His first senior international, he completed as part of a test match against Azerbaijan at the age of 17 years.
