Hasan Gültang

Hasan Okan Gültang ( born October 29, 1972 in Adana ) is a former Turkish football goalkeeper and coach.

Playing career

The first few years and Adana Demirspor

Gültang began with the 1991 club football in the youth of Adana Demirspor. For the season 1992/93 he was accepted as an amateur player in the senior squad this association. On October 11, 1992, he made ​​his professional debut during a second division match against Muşspor. Career finale

The season 2005/ 06 he spent in the third division Kahramanmarasspor and Yıldırım Bosnaspor. After he had been active in each case for one season for the clubs Afyonkarahisarspor and Bugsas Spor, he ended his active career in the summer of 2008.

National

Gültang was nominated by former U-21 national team coach of Turkey, Fatih Terim, forthe in the squad of the Turkish Olympic selection Mediterranean Games in 1993. Here he came in all parts of his team to use and has been with his team gold medalist. After this tournament he played two more times for the Turkish U-21 national team.

In 1995 he was appointed five times by Fatih Terim, who had become coach of the Turkish national team, in the national team. He was sitting with four of those games on the bench and played his first and last international match during a friendly game of 8 March 1995 against the Israeli national team.

Coaching career

After the end of his football playing career Gültang took over the post of goalkeeper coach at Giresunspor. Two months later he left this club and was goalkeeping coach at the Turkish youth national team and was thus one of the coaching staff of Guus Hiddink.

For the 2011/12 season, he took over the first division side Gaziantepspor the post of goalkeeper coach. In March 2013 he succeeded his former head coach at the Turkish U -21, Raşit Çetiner, and was goalkeeping coach at second division Şanlıurfaspor.
