Hauts-de-Seine

The department of Hauts -de -Seine [ odsɛn ] (Seine- ups ) is a French department of atomic number 92, it is located in the Île- de -France region in the Paris region and mainly comprises the suburbs to the west of the capital.

Geography

The department is bordered to the north by the department of Val- d'Oise, in the north- east by the department of Seine -Saint -Denis, encloses the west of Paris, bounded on the southeast by the department of Val -de- Marne, on the south by the department of Essonne and on the west by the department of Yvelines.

History

The department of Hauts -de -Seine was done in 1968 in the division of the departments of Seine and Seine- et- Oise into smaller departments.
