HC Sarov

The HK Sarov (Russian ХК Саров ) is a Russian ice hockey club, founded in 2002 in Sarov. The team plays in the Wysschaja Hockey League and bear its home games at the Ice Palace Sarov. The club colors are blue, white and red.

History

The club was founded in 2002. From 2003 to 2009, the HK Sarov took part in the operation of the third-rate game Perwaja league. For the season 2009/10 he was admitted to the Wysschaja League, the second Russian league. For the 2010/11 season the team was finally added to its successor league Wysschaja Hockey League.

HK Sarov acts as a farm team of the KHL participant Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod.
