Heidelberger Hut

Heidelberger Hütte ( 2264 m ) is a mountain hut to the Heidelberg section of the German Alpine Club in the rear Fimbatal at the foot of the flight Horns ( 3399 m) in the Silvretta. It is the only hut of the German Alpine Club, which is on Swiss soil. She is standing on field of political Ramosch, but the Austrian Ischgl (Tyrol ) from farmed. It was built in 1889 and has since been continually renewed and expanded. Today it is a comfortably furnished shelter with beds, mattresses, cold and hot water ( showers). Popular as a touring base is mainly in winter and spring for ski touring, starting from here the Silvretta crossing.

The usual approaches are of Ischgl by the Fimbatal above ground Alpine House (4 hours) and Galtür by the Lareintal about the Ritzenjoch ( 5 hours). From Switzerland 's hut Ramosch through the Val Sinestra Samnaun by the Zeblastal ( not recommended on a day ascent) (4 hours) and Scuol on the east ridge of Piz Tasna (6 hours), accessible.
