Heiko Schaffartzik

Heiko Schaffartzik ( born January 3, 1984 in Berlin ) is a German professional basketball player. He played from January 2011 to May 2013 at Alba Berlin in the BBL. Since 2013 he plays for Bayern Munich. In 2008 he took part in the BBL All-Star Game for Team South and scored nine points.

In his career, he was already playing for different clubs in Germany as the EWE Baskets Oldenburg, LTi Giessen 46ers or Alba Berlin.

At the age of 13 years Schaffartzik ill with leukemia and was sidelined from basketball for some time.

After the end of the season 2004/ 05 he was transferred as part of doping control of marijuana use. The sample came from 10 June, three days after the last game of Giessen 46ers in the playoffs against Bamberg. The basketball league then locked him up for four games, his former club from casting broke his contract immediately.

Germany coach Dirk Bauer Mann called him for the Internationals on August 7th and 8th 2009 in the national team.

Heiko Schaffartzik has become known for its accuracy in the EM- international matches against Greece and Croatia, which he completed both with a 100% Trefferqoute.

On 3 December 2011, he joined Wetten, dass. ? on and lost to the candidate, the German national team golf Ann- Kathrin Lindner, the bet.
