Heinz Lüdi

Heinz Lüdi ( born October 8, 1958) is a former Swiss football player.

The usable once to the position of the defender Lüdi began his career in 1976 at FC Grenchen. In 1977, he joined the FC Zurich, where he spent most of his career.

With Zurich he won in the 1980/81 season the Swiss Championship in the same year and reached the final of the Swiss Cup. However, the game was lost with 3:4 after extra time against FC Lausanne-Sport. His greatest personal success he achieved in 1981, when he was elected with 72 votes against the Swiss Footballer of the Year. For the 1988/89 season Lüdi stood at Neuchâtel Xamax under contract from 1989 to 1991, he played for FC Baden his last competitive games.

For the Swiss national football team he was first used in 1979 in an official match. In the following years he belonged to the tribe squad and brought it to 1985 to 42 matches for Switzerland, as well as a score.
