Hélène Binet

Hélène Binet ( born July 25, 1959 in Sorengo, Ticino ) is a Swiss photographer.

Life

Binet grew up in Rome, where she also studied photography at the Istituto Europeo di Design. She then worked for two years as a photographer at the Grand Théâtre de Genève before she turned to architectural photography.

The photographer alive today ( in 2011 ) on Osea Iceland, an island in the estuary of the River Blackwater in the English county of Essex.

Work

In the decades vergangegen Binet worked as a photographer with many internationally known architects and other artists. These were among other Raoul Bunschoten, David Chipperfield, Zaha Hadid, Zvi Hecker, John Hejduk, Josef Paul Kleihues, Daniel Libeskind, Edmund de Waal and Peter Zumthor.
