Hells Bells (English for " Hell Bells " ) is a song by Australian hard rock band AC / DC, which is the first track of the album Back in Black.

Content

The song begins with the four-time sound of a deep bell. Then Angus Young is the lead guitarist, followed by his brother Malcolm Young on rhythm guitar, Phil Rudd on drums and Cliff Williams on bass. Finally, Brian Johnson sings about the thus constructed sound.

In addition to publishing on Back in Black, the song also appeared on the soundtrack album Who Made Who and on the live album, as well as the remastered version of Back in Black in the box set Bonfire.

For recording the bells of the War Memorial Campanile was captured in Loughborough in Leicestershire.

Reception

The song has been one publication to the popular songs of AC / DC and is used at many events and TV shows. Several football clubs, such as FC St. Pauli, FC Winterthur and FC Schalke 04, Hells Bells use as a running music at their home games.
